This kit combines our fast-drying, alcohol-based Light Fast Wood Stain with a premium 1K Wood Varnish to ensure superior grain definition and long-lasting protection. Engineered for ease of use, this system provides deep, vibrant colour that resists fading and a durable topcoat that seals and enhances the natural beauty of the wood.

  • Premium Protection: Includes Premiere 1K Varnish—a non-yellowing, quick-drying topcoat available in Matt, Satin, or Gloss.

  • Coverage: Each 400ml stain aerosol covers approximately 3 sq. metres per coat.

  • Note: Multiple coats of stain will darken the final finish. Always seal with the included lacquer to lock in colour.

Preparation: Ensure the wooden surface is clean, dry, and free from wax or old finishes. Sand to a smooth finish using 180-240 grit sandpaper and remove all dust before spraying.

Staining (Colour Layer): Shake the Wood Stain can for 2 minutes after the mixing ball rattles. Apply in light, even passes at a distance of 20–25cm. For a deeper, darker tone, apply a second coat after 20 minutes.

Protection (Sealing Layer): Once the stain is dry (approx. 30–60 minutes), apply 2–3 light coats of your chosen lacquer (Matte, Satin, or Gloss). Allow 20 minutes between coats to build a durable, protective shield.

Pro Tip: When working on intricate projects like Amortek models or detailed carvings, use very thin "dusting" coats to prevent paint build-up in fine details and ensure a perfect, non-reflective finish.
