PVC Application & Prep Guide
Our PVC range is a specialist coating designed for high flexibility and maximum adhesion to plastic and vinyl surfaces.

1. Surface Preparation

Clean & Dry: Ensure the PVC surface is 100% free of dust, grease, and silicone. Use a mild soapy water solution followed by a specialised plastic cleaner if necessary.

No Primer Needed: Our PVC formula is designed to bond directly to the substrate without a primer, maintaining the flexibility of the material.

2. Mixing the Paint

The 2-Minute Rule: Shake the can vigorously for at least 2 minutes after the mixing ball rattles. This ensures the elastic resins and pigments are perfectly blended.

3. Spraying Technique

Distance: Hold the can 20cm – 25cm from the surface.

Light Layers: Apply in multiple thin, light coats. This is crucial for PVC to ensure the paint "knits" into the plastic without pooling or running.

Flexibility: Avoid heavy builds; thin layers allow the paint to flex with the material once dry.

4. Curing

Flash-off: Wait 10 minutes between coats.

Full Bond: While touch-dry in 20 minutes, allow 24 hours for the chemical bond to reach full strength before stretching or heavy use of the item.

Our PVC coating is a specialist, high-flexibility resin system engineered to bond permanently with plastics and vinyl without cracking or peeling.

Flexibility: High-Elasticity (designed to move with the substrate).

Drying & Curing Times:

Touch Dry: 15–20 minutes.

Overcoat Window: 10–15 minutes between light coats.

Full Chemical Bond: 24 hours at room temperature.

⚠️ Suitability Note: This product is not suitable for rubber, soft silicone, or highly oily plastics. Always perform a small compatibility test on an inconspicuous area before full application.
