Monstercolors™ Clear PVC Lacquer – Gloss Finish is a high-performance protective topcoat engineered for plastic and uPVC surfaces. With a gloss level exceeding 70%, this lacquer provides a brilliant, high-sheen finish that adds depth and professional lustre to previously painted projects. It is designed to significantly increase surface durability and provide a long-lasting, weatherproof seal.

This versatile clear coat is ideal for converting matt or satin surfaces to a high-gloss finish or for adding an extra layer of protection to existing gloss paint. It is specifically formulated for uPVC restoration, making it a reliable choice for window frames, doors, and automotive components.

Application Instructions

1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and thoroughly degreased. For maximum adhesion, lightly key the area with a scotch pad.

2. Agitation: Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least two minutes before use.

3. Technique: Apply in multiple light, even coats. Finish with a fuller topcoat to achieve maximum gloss depth and clarity.

4. Drying: Allow approximately 10 minutes between coats, depending on ambient temperature and humidity.

5. Maintenance: After use, invert the can and spray for 5 seconds to clear the nozzle and prevent blockages.

Coverage: One 400ml aerosol covers approximately 1.5 to 2 square meters, roughly equivalent to half of a standard-sized PVC door.
